The state joint-stock company “Tiesu namu aģentūra” (TNA) previously reported that it had begun implementing, under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) operational programme “Growth and Employment”, specific support objective 4.2.1 “To promote the improvement of energy efficiency in state and residential buildings”, measure 4.2.1.2 “To promote the improvement of energy efficiency in state buildings”, a project – Improving the energy efficiency of the administrative building at Lomonosova iela 10, Riga, Project ID No. 4.2.1.2/17/I/042.

On 4 December 2019, a contract was concluded for carrying out construction works to improve energy efficiency at the administrative building at Lomonosova iela 10, Riga, between the state joint-stock company “Tiesu namu aģentūra” and the limited-liability construction company “IMG Constructor”. Under the contract, the following construction works, or energy-efficiency improvement measures, are being carried out – insulation of the attic floor, insulation of the upper ceiling, replacement of wooden windows with double glazing and wooden windows with double-glazed units with new ones, replacement of wooden and metal doors, improvement of the building’s external enclosing structures and improvement of the building’s technical systems. The construction works provided for in the contract are planned to be carried out and completed within twelve calendar months of the facility being handed over to the contractor, by the end of 2020. The total construction costs are estimated at approximately 680 thousand euro. The construction works are partly financed from European Regional Development Fund resources and partly from TNA’s own resources.
